Stories can create wonder for small business owners




We are surrounded by stories from day to night and every story matters if it can create a value to our life. Just like that every small business owners can make wonder to their business by telling their stories to the audience.  


When we follow big or successful business we all know that they have come from a small place or with hope of becoming big they struggled everyday.  We never know what they really do to run their business everyday but once we hear their stories about how they started their journey and became such giant company we feel interested to know about them. 


Thus stories can make people interested in something new which was unknown for them. For example if we talk about "Zero Waste shop " how a couple’s thinking made a big change in their community and now they are running their business and helping others too for growing, which started back in 2018 with a thought of shopping without wasting. 


Most of the time we think that story telling can only helpful for big brands whether It's more important for small business owners as they can reach more people and can create a brand value of their business by telling their stories.


While we talk about telling the story most of the time people miss the story that need to tell. So lets focus on the point you need to emphasis on a story. A simple story with a clear vison can change the future of a business.  


Two most important things is always needed to keeo in mind while writting a business story. One is "the audience " two is "the main massage" you want to give throw the story.  If you can compose a story with this two ingredients it will begin to have It's own flow. 


There are cautions also in business story as we write to grab the audience attention we should avoid unnecessary details about everything as it can loose the interest of the audience and we can't take them back to the track if we loose them once. 


What kind of story we need to tell? 


There is no limit of telling and it’s so vast that we can start with whatever we want but business stories has it’s own beauty. As a small business owner we need not worry about the whole story while the real story can be the one which will touch people’s heart. 


The way a small business started and after so many ups and downs how it reached the desired place and how it overcome all the losses and setbacks everything will help the audience to understand the passion and dedication you put into while building this business.


Talk about the success

If yoy are a successful one try to explain the way you have come throw th top from the ground. If you have struggled hard made them understand the journey yoy have made to meet your need.  People want to hear real life stories rather fairytales so it’s important to keep it real and simple.

  1. Story telling is a very effective way to influence the customers. Through stories its very easy to reach to our customers and convince them. It's proved that whenever we present our products though stories, it touches the heart of the audience mostly. People don't buy products, they actually buy emotion. As a example, if a food seller narrates a story relating memories or history about a particular food then it attracts the audience and convince them to buy that food. Same goes for another products. But stories must include realistic terms. It shouldn't involve fake information or unrealistic terms. This may create negative impact.
